The 6570 is probably your best choice with only going up $5, if you can go up $20, the 6670 is going to be the cheapest upgrade.

I haven't used HIS but the Radeon HD 6670 should do "okay" with GW2. Sadly $70 is not much to work with. Why would you want to use a laptop as your primary computer?

I think I am going to stay with the 6870, it's just kind of up in the air as to when I can purchase it, it might not be for like 6 more weeks, or at the soonest 1-2 weeks. It depends on how the next couple weeks go.(I'm getting married April 10th, so I'm kinda trying not to spend atm, but if a good deal comes up on one, I'm going to buy it if the money is in the bank). Do you know if prices should be going down soon since a bunch of cards have just recently been announced? If not, I might as well wait until the end of April. :/

Edit I just found this card also and people have been saying good things about it, but no one has mentioned how it fares in BF3, which BF3 and FFXIV are the main reasons I'm even wanting to upgrade my computer in the first place. Have you heard anything about this card? It's only 60$ after the rebate which I wouldn't mind sacrificing some for 100$ in savings essentially, but if it's not even a comparison I think I'd rather hold out.

If you have a Micro Center near you, they have great prices on motherboard/processor combo's where you could build a decent PC for maybe $380 (along with buying sales items from online stores).

But if you're buying everything online, $350 is going to be tough to build a pretty good PC. I threw this together in a few minutes to hopefully give you and idea of what you're looking at:

That RAM is actually just one stick, not four. Also, a lot of people don't like the built in power supply into cases, because a lot of times those power supplies are cheap quality. You could save maybe $10 on a cheaper case without a psu, and then buy a quality psu on sale for hopefully $30 (probably closer to $40). But that will then put you up to $380 for this budget build. You could also save some money by going with a radeon 6670 for only $65 after rebate. That would put you really close to your $350 budget.

However, if you raised your budget up a little higher, for $50 more you can get an i3 2100, and for $20-50 more, you could get a radeon 6850/6870. That would put you at $450-480, but you would be getting significantly higher performances.

you could always go with a 500GB 7200 HDD for close to the same price too and for 70 bucks add a Radeon HD 6670 DDR3

You currently have integrated graphics at the moment so I would upgrade your GPU without question first. If that still doesn't satisfy your FPS craving, then your next bet is a good budget CPU since after the GPU upgrade, your CPU will be the limiting factor. In my opinion, the best budget would be to get the Radeon 6670 for $80 ($65 after rebate), and then the Phenom II x4 955 for ~$100 off eBay. This will help immensely with games and even better generally computer use. If you are even low on RAM (less than 4GB), you can get some DDR2 memory for cheap for $20-30. All this is only $200 and would make your computer jump few generations ahead from where it is.

It's very well possible that your PSU might not handle this either. All of this is uncertain and depending on your rig, it might just be best to get a whole new setup if adding the Radeon 6670 doesn't help much.

I'm not too sure of the PSU, it came with a pre-built HP computer, and on the specs it just says "300W Power Supply". I have been looking at the 6670's, particularly on Amazon (cause I have a $20 promo credit), do you have any experience with HIS video cards?

I'm looking at this one:
