this reminds me of one of those expanding wire globe toys, (e) which i guess are called Hoberman Spheres. phenomenal work here!

edit: OKAY! I saw the trailer for your game. it strikes me that you have to have played Escape Velocity Nova or its predecessors. this game looks A TON like EVN through and through. i played the ABSOLUTE SHIT out of EVN back in the late 90's. Starcom: Nexus absolutely screams to me! i will definitely be buying it upon release. as i said, phenomenal work here. truly.
