Holidays on Ice by David Sedaris is my vote. I love David Sedaris and this is a great example of his work. It is completely off beat and very funny.

From my personal experience, I would suggest "The Christmas Train" by David Baldacci. (It's much better than its 2017 Hallmark movie namesake) and"Holidays On Ice" by David Sedaris. It's more nonfiction memoir/irreverent humor but required holiday reading nonetheless.
