I'm just going to preface this by saying I don't know what i'm doing.
I used a build that Astro put together and the most recent MMO-C build of the month to put this together. Astro also recommended the MSI 970 card. Faust said he like the Nvidia cards so I picked that. I have no clue why I picked that particular motherboard.
I don't know what a g-sync/freesync monitor is. This is the monitor I have now as an external monitor on my macbook. I'll probably pick up a 2nd one for the new computer.
HP 25vx 25-inch LED Backlit Monitor- $125
Bought it from best buy about 3 months ago and it is an awesome monitor. Colors are great and the monitor is very lightweight.
