Pricey but my 3.5yr old pit mix with a short coat crushed winter last year on -28 degree morning walks fighting through snow like it was no big deal. Our walks were ~20 minutes long on the coldest days and an hour long on days when the temps were below zero.
No booties were even necessary.
This is considered the warmest coat on the market from my research.
