I have the single footswitch model and it works great, but the switch itself is a bit loud if you aren’t enclosed in a booth.
i ended up getting This One and i'm pretty happy with it. solid metal base, pedals have springs with good resistance, theres an audible click when pedal is pushed in enough to register similar to a mech keyboard, and the cable isnt cheapo either.
the software isnt perfect but its better than nothing, you can bind almost anything but mouse movement to each one and i havent tried but i think you can set profiles too. as far as i know it doesnt have auto profiles you can link to programs like some mouse software.
i have mine where one is my global microphone mute and the other is global hotkey to play/pause media. mostly use it while i'm playing games that require a controller and i wanna switch back and forth between media playing and dont want it feeding into discord voice.
the same company sells a single pedal version if you just wanted the one hotkey
You could buy a usb foot pedal off Amazon. Ive seen some streamers bind them to lean. Or you can move your 'wasd' movement keys to something like 'rdfg'. That'll give you more keys to left of your hand to use.
I would absolutely buy something like this if I could find one. Lots of people are pointing to those terrible amazon footpedals, but they're super light and don't stay put, and are also kinda low quality. I'd love a metal one that would stay nicely put all the time, especially if it came with nice software to rebind what key it presses.
EDIT: I was just looking on amazon, and I came across a pedal I've never seen before, actually.. Anybody tried one of these out before?

theres only a few on amazon, or available in general. the solid black ones are hte original from back in the day. these newer ones are bit better quality and the software more up to date, but the software is also hit or miss for more complicated functions. i use it primiarly for push to talk now.
