I can bake circles in my sleep and I probably wouldn't do that just because of the time, stress, and transport of it all. Plus to make 200 cupcakes you might spend close to what you'd pay for someone else doing them in the midst of all that.
Where in VA are you? We just finalized our wedding cupcake order (160 cupcakes, 5 flavors so 32 of each, plus delivery and set up) and it was wayyyyy cheaper than most place charge for starting prices of tiered wedding cakes, plus we got a discount for paying in full when we placed our order rather doing a deposit. That being said, I'll likely make a cake or pick up a relatively plain looking one from a grocery store for us to cut into. I also found these incase people want to take a cupcake with them instead of eating it at the wedding. Since we ordered cupcakes so far in advance, I'm sure we'll get stuck with some leftovers, and I found this to be a cheap way to not end up with a bazillion cupcakes that I'd want to consume post-wedding haha.
