I like your low-waste goal, but consider that the re-usability of these things will be higher if you get actual tiny LED tea lights so you can turn them on and off. These are cheap and are basically the same LED, same CR2032 battery, but in an attractive housing with an on-off switch: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0064RDS7A


They'll be much more reusable, nearly the same price per item, and only a tiny bit more plastic in each one. (I've bought that particular product from Amazon and they worked great-- each tea light lasted several nights before needing to replace the battery.)
