There are lots of fancy support pillows on the market, here's a cheaper orthopedic labeled one that my wife and I use all the time: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008GQ04S8/

I sleep on my back and I use this pillow to support my legs. It has really helped reduce the pain I get when waking up. Sleeping in any one position all night will make your body stiff, spondy or no spondy. So doing stretches and some warm ups in the morning help as well. Hope this helps!

I couldn't lie on my side for a while, so slept on my back with a leg pillow like [this] (http://www.amazon.com/InteVision-Ortho-Wedge-Quality-Removable/dp/B008GQ04S8/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1419096767&sr=8-4&keywords=leg+pillow). To get into bed I would sit on a plastic-face-down paper and plastic cloth from the doctors office. That way I could easily scoot my butt across the bed on the slippery plastic to get into position. The only way I could get out of bed was with help. Also, my incision opened after 10 days and became infected, so healing took longer. Good luck!
