I'm getting the same crash on my early 2014 MBA

I'm running an external monitor through thunderbolt and another one through this dongle (http://www.amazon.com/J5-Create-JUA350-Display-Adapter/dp/B0079VXOWO/)

I have a late 2011 MBP using 2 Dell U2414H monitors. I have one monitor hooked up to the Mini-display port and the 2nd hooked up using one of these. There are DisplayPort to HDMI or DVI cables and adaptors.

I found 2 different drivers for the USB adaptor. One from MCT that are very responsive and runs as well as the DisplayPort monitor. But it uses a bit higher CPU, which along with a 2nd internal hard drive causes the fan to run a lot.

The second is from J5 Create. It uses very little CPU but does lag when presented with a lot of movement (moving windows, lag when typing etc). I went with this driver and use this monitor for my email window, and static display etc. while using the DisplayPort for my primary work.

My desk setup doesn't allow me to use my laptop monitor due to space, but with the MDT driver I would keep the laptop open to help dissipate heat, so I do know that all 3 displays will work.

This setup allows each of the 3 displays to have their own space, rather than one large display stretched across 3 monitors.
