I had quarter inch plywood cut the same size as the ceiling tiles and used some double sided tape to sandwich them together, then screwed the speaker mounts into the tile and wood, and drilled a hole to run wire through. These are the mounts. I like them quite a but. Very heavy duty feeling and a good price.

I ran the speaker wire behind the wall and I'm using Jmbl speaker mounts. They're super sturdy and super easy to adjust.
