I used Manuka Honey on my sores. I was referred to it because of a friend who got herpes while traveling in New Zealand and that’s what they use and she swore by it. Said she couldn’t imagined not having used it.

I know it’s expensive but it might be worth it based on how bad your OB is, I’m fortunate that mine was not that extreme but it was still horribly painful and the Manuka Honey soothed it. Mine is located offset to my actual vagina though, I’d be slightly wary of possible yeast infection if you put it directly in/on. Hers was directly on and she was fine. But also, yeast infection is nothing compared to herpes OB.
