Started with a cheap Kingston 64gb that crapped out after a few days. Now have SanDisk 128gb cards in my s7 as well as my wife's...No issues.

Edit: I'm a dumbass: one of my cards is this Lexar...It's great.

"Must have" is a stretch, like the other commentators said you have everything you need in a box. however, here's some accessories that I'm picking up for it:

  • 128 GB Micro SD Card - for downloading eshop and future VC games
  • Travel Case - to keep my baby safe
  • And eventually a power brick, once I read some reviews with the Switch and which ones are the best

    Some people are purchasing extra controllers/grips, but I'm set with the two Joy Cons for what I'm playing.

Yeah, that would be awesome if you could send the one you use. I'm always worried I won't have noticed it is frozen and miss recording something important. I keep a push pin in my car to reset it when I do notice.

A Samsung was actually the first one I used that froze all the time. I even got the really nice one that met all of Transcend's requirements.

Currently I'm using this Lexar 633x. One thing I read is that Samsung doesn't provide warranty support when you use theirs in a dash cam while Lexar still does, and some people recommended this one on the dash cam sub. I've not had great luck with either. I guess maybe my cam is the problem but it never freezes with the card that came with it.

To be fair, I can't say for sure they were both formatted in FAT32, but that's what I thought they came with. I should try reformatting my card to be sure.

Having trouble deciding on a MicroSD card and I'm not super in the know when it comes to things like this. Basically I know that UHS-1 is recommended for Switch and I know that I want 128GB (fits my needs and price range) but I'm stuck on a few and don't know the best option to go with. It’s a dash cam...this isn’t a NVR system with incremental backups. Most dashcams tell you that the memory is full...is 10 seconds to swap SDs that horrible? Just buy a bigger SD card...
