If you're fine with a 13'', maybe consider the LG Gram 13 for $900. It weighs in at just 2.07 lbs and has incredibly thin bezels that make it portable. It also has pretty solid specs that will work fine for LoL and other similar games including a Kaby Lake i5 processor, 8gb of ram, 256gb SSD and HD 620 graphics. It also has a pretty good IPS display which allows for 90% sRGB and would work well for photo editing. Finally, it's battery is advertised up to 16 hours.

A 15.6'' option would be the Asus Vivobook S for $800. It weighs in at just 3.7 lbs and also has some pretty thin bezels considering its size. It has a bit better specs with a Kaby Lake i7 processor, 8gb of ram, 1TB HDD + 128gb SSD and HD 620 graphics. It also has a 1080p TN display (I believe it's TN but can't tell for sure - no reviews on the quality of the display as this laptop is brand new on the market). Also no word on the battery, but I believe it's a 42Wh battery which should last around 5 or 6 hours of light use considering it has a dual core processor.

For a really light laptop with good build quality i would recommend the LG gram 13 because it comes with 7th Gen. Intel Core i5 processos,8 GB of ram,256 SSD and around 15 Hrs of battery life .

Wow. Yeah. This LG Gram looks great. I tried to get some info on Linux compatibility. It looks like it "works" but that really means different things to different people. Do you know if audio works? Suspend and Hibernate? Battery life under Linux? I'll probably make another post but thought I'd ask. Also, I can't seem to find for sure if the USB C is capable of charging the laptop either. Any idea?

Thank you very much. This is probably "The One".

Edit: fixed link.

Interested in an LG Gram 13"? Less than a month old, incredibly light.
