The Unicorn Beetle by Supcase always gets great reviews and is probably the closest alternative to an Otter Box, and also more aesthetically pleasing, IMO. My bf had it on his G4 when he had it, and it did a great job protecting it and wasn't too cumbersome; I would say definitely less than an otterbox.

I have this one currently and I really enjoy it. Just as good as the OtterBox options and much cheaper price.
