Not hyperbole. It is actually true. The amount of right-wing propaganda that comes out of Fox News on a daily basis has no comparison. Can you think of any, or do you think they don't at all? The closest comparison in pure volume and intensity would be the Nazi Party. I'm not saying they are the same, but they are second on the list.

Let's take your point that it is hyperbole. An exaggeration. Of the truth. It's still true, just not as bad as you think it is.

My assertion is that Fox News is unreliable. My argument for that assertion is that they lie, obscure facts, and misrepresent the truth. This is easily verifiable by anyone. Google "Fox news lie" or "lies". Plenty of fodder there. There is even a site called, Fox News Lies. (I have never seen it before so I am hesitant to cite it, but since you want proof, I would imagine they would have it there)

It's funny you say No MediaMatters citations, because that is what they do...find lies in the media, particularly right-wing media. I take it you don't like them because they pick on conservatives, yet they always seem to find lies and false information coming from conservatives...Whether you choose to trust them or not, they are reliable in pointing out lies and misreprensentations. Besides, when someone shows you side by side, the lie versus the truth, it doesn't matter if it is Joe-Bob in his basement or Media Matters.

I would love to list a ton of stories just to prove how often Fox lies, but I am working and fixing dinner for the family, so it will have to wait. In the meantime, my first Google search had one right away:

To put it as simply as possible, MSNBC doesn't just make shit up the way that Fox News does. It would be one thing if Fox News actually stayed true to the tagline "Fair and Balanced" and they actually told the truth about things that don't further their republican agenda. MSNBC on the other hand may seem like a liberal media outlet by comparison, but they are more about making money than pushing an agenda. Al Franken's book Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them actually talks about this question in further detail.

I have found this book: "Lies (And the Lying Liars Who Tell Them): A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right" by Al Franken to be an informative read.

If you have the time watch "Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism". Excellent.
