At the very least, she had something to do with it. If she didn't pull the trigger she knows who did.

EDIT: This is an excellent book on the subject, it turned me into a believer.

For those of you who find this stuff as fascinating as I do, I'd also recommend Love & Death: The Murder of Kurt Cobain by Max Wallace and Ian Halperin

If you're interested more information can be found here, the the website of Tom Grant, the PI hired by Courtney to find Kurt who eventually concluded Cobain was murdered and she was at the least heavily involved. Just hits the main points, and has rather revelatory recordings of him with Courtney and her entertainment attorney Rosemary Carroll.

If that at all makes you curious, there's more information including police report pages here along with some unanswered questions.

If you're still interested, the two books written by Ian Halperin and Max Wallace are also pretty well done; they conclude Cobain was murdered, but that there isn't enough evidence to implicate Courtney. Just (in my opinion) an objective analysis of everything, including their own critique and criticisms of Grant.

*Forgot about this documentary. Also hits all the main points, not bad, but Soaked in Bleach looks like it is going to be a lot better.
