What? no it doesnt, a bullet cam with 1080p loop recording can be purchased for under $100 (and i'm sure bulk orders would be less) Set the video to record on loop. if someone gets arrested or some incident happens you keep the sd card as evidence. Where this idea that suddenly giving someone a camera requires ballooning infrastructure is absurd.

Do you have one? Have you seen the Midland action camera? How do you think it would compare. I've had one on my wishlist a while.

For now it is a Midland XTC HD 1080 p, very simple, but does not give working date & time stamps and the Mic sucks a large butthole.

I will have a couple videos up shortly.

I bought a Midland Action Camera because I really didn't want to put out the cash for a GoPro for the amount of times I would use it. Namely, only on dives deeper than 45 feet, which is how far my Pentax Optio Wg-2 is rated.

I call my Midland my GoAmateur, and it's been great. I took it down to 115' last month with no problem, great clarity, though no light source or red filter has my colors off. It uses a standard camera mount, though I have an adapter that puts it on GoPro mounts. I'm happy with it, and that several hundred dollars was better put towards more diving.
