I bought this. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075B1R9YZ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
If you look around amazon or ebay you can often find borosilicate glass in the sizes of various 3d printer build plates.

The auto-leveling seems to compensate. On a cartesian printer you might need to compensate somehow, like adding a shim to make the Z=0 switch trigger sooner. Previously I had used some micro binder clips to hold it down, since I have used some thermal adhesive pad to hold it in place because I got tired of the nozzle bumping clips on larger prints.

I put a glass ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075B1R9YZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) over my bed with clips. Will I get faster heating with the stock pad removed?

is this also a good option? or are the mirrors better & can you link to a good mirror or will a random mirror at a craft store work?

also the settings in cura im using (ill upload images later today) are the settings that he manual lists. but i downloaded the configuration & put the manual settings into it. is this ok?

This one is fulfilled by Amazon, would that be able to get to you?

Not really much you can do wrong, it should give you output saying the values are set after running the M92 command and then after running M500 it should report that it saved the settings to memory. You may need to powercycle afterwards, though.

There could also be some flex in the metal bed, you might try a glass bed overlay. Some people get the 5" mirrors from Michael's for $.99, or you can get a nice borosilicate glass bed from Amazon for $12.99.
