Hi there,

I was brainstorming your problem from the perspective of fluid flow/pipeflow. I also assumed that your 3d-printed funnel is shaped like a typical funnel like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Clear-Plastic-Funnel-Micro-Container/dp/B00G703K18

The first concern I had with this idea was that you'd be altering your airflow measurement because you wouldn't be measuring the velocity of airflow from the direct channel anymore - you'd actually be measuring the airspeed as if the airflow was coming out of a channel as wide as the larger side of the funnel- which (again, this is assuming air laminar flow is similar to liquid laminar flow) would mean that you'll end up with readings much slower than the "true" speed of your airflow.

I thought of two possible things to get around this:

  1. Would it be possible to attach a thin tygon tube to one of the outlets on the narrow axis of your device on one end and the other end attached to a balloon? You could measure how much air passes into the balloon over time by measuring the volume and dividing by the cross-section area of the tygon tube.

  2. Do you only have access to that one ananometer? I hope there is a version out there that would have a smaller internal diameter for an application like this.

Making your own juice is about ten times cheaper than "premium" juice.
source i did the math.
i have calculated that im paying about 0,03€-0,06€ per ml (5-10% flavor)

edit: regarding your question about the prep product.

  • 1x 1000ml for mixing the baseliquid
    check

  • 100ml Bottles for mixing the juice about
    check

  • Juice Bottles
    check
  • Milkfoamthingy because im to lazy to shake it

  • a set of different syringes for handling the flavors

  • a funnel for filing the juice bottles

about 56$ and you have more than you'll ever need for doing your own juice maybe share it with a friend?
