Amazon's got 'em for 7 bucks if you don't need them like this second.

Given its heavy robusta content, I'd be tempted to go with it and make me up a Vietnamese drip coffee (given that Vietnam is - or was - the primary source of robusta beans worldwide). Plus the condensed milk will help kill the taste ;)
If you need to source a phin, they are super cheap on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Vietnamese-Infuser-Slow-Drip-Single-Cup-Stainless/dp/B002LKSS5Q - its worth it, if only to tick the box on yet another coffee making technique before relegating it to the back of the shelf.
I would say that more important than the bean is the filter.
Vietnamese coffee is highly concentrated and delicious because it uses this filter
I'd love to try making iced coffee with this Vietnamese infuser! :)

This is my favorite dripper, it’s 3 pieces as opposed to some which have 4 with a bottom which detaches and is easy to lose. Let me know if you have any other questions!
I have one and it's pretty good. I still haven't gone through all the filters it came with. It's all in the grind like that dude from Black Hawk Down said. I like my coffee extremely strong so sometimes I use one of these:

Try one, it will knock your socks off.

Best frappuccino-like drink I had was made by a Vietnamese women. She used a typical Viet. single serving coffee drip to make some intensely strong coffee, then blended it with soy milk (I'm vegan) and some crushed ice. The soy milk allows you to use less sugar, and of course it doesn't spoil nearly as fast as milk.
This was the coffee she used.
I'm surprised no one here has mentioned french(or other manual) presses. They make coffee with much less acidity and it's a lot tastier for iced coffee.
For less messy amazon links you can extract the part after "/dp/" in

French press might suit your needs perfectly. And of course, it's a little less convenient, as it needs boiling water + 5min brewing. But the french press itself is cheap, and you'll save tons of money on coffee, AND won't ruin the environment with those pods ;) (unless you do recycle them with Nespresso's program). As bogiesan says, pour-over might also be an option. If you want to try it, I'd recommend Vietnamese pour-over filter. Here's a cheap example on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Vietnamese-Infuser-Slow-Drip-Single-Cup-Stainless/dp/B002LKSS5Q/
Don't know if it's a good one, but $6 is cheap. The idea is that you put coffee in the filter, put the filter on top of your cup and pour boiling water over it.
Don't let the market or Nespresso Fancy Hipster Club decide what you like. Experiment and decide for yourself! It all depends on the grinds, water quality and technique.
I dunno, but this is it on amazon

I doubt the vietnamese actually call it that
