The fish eye lens crap is simple untrue. Anyone who knows anything about optics can tell you that.

Don't get fooled with this fish eye shit. It has nothing to do with lenses. It has everything to do with people ignoring what is right in front of them. They'd call car tire a square if it pushed their agenda or let them bilk money out of idiots.
Just fyi, $500 is cheap for a lens. Professional lenses come in closer to the $1500 range.
