No Turning Back: The History of Feminism and the Future of Women is a good primer on the history of women's rights.
Feminism Is for Everybody by Bell Hooks is another great one.
I certainly can't say I'm an expert on the subject by any means; I just know the basic aspects of each wave and how they progressed or opposed the ideals, outlook and goals of the others.
For a more comprehensive look at feminist history, I found this but perhaps someone else here (or at /r/feminism would know better what the best feminist history books are out there.
