Is "BioPerine" just a brand name for Piperine? From Google it seems like they are both extracted from pepper. If so would something like this be an ideal way to get both from a single source?

My mom is getting up there in age, works a job in retail where she is standing all day, and doesn't take care of herself much, consequently she started developing joint pain/arthritis. Looking around I found the best bet for reducing her symptoms was an absorption enhanced curcumin supplement and boswellia serrata extract. She hasn't complained in months about aches or pains, and this was after trying glucosamine/chondroitin/fish oil which did nothing for her.
