That Jetboil system -- which works beautifully -- combines a heat exchanger on the bottom of the pot, with an insulating neoprene sleeve. It's brilliant, and I wish someone made an equivalent one for Esbit tabs or alcohol stoves.

It's made me consider making a neoprene sleeve for the Olicamp XTS pot, or possibly for the Esbit CS985H-EX.

The MSR Dragonfly is a white gas stove. It requires a fuel bottle and liquid fuel. It's a great stove, but for your average backpacker, it's too big and too heavy.

The Minimo is a canister stove with integrated pot. Canister stoves are generally smaller and lighter than white gas stoves. If your goal is to boil water for dehydrated/freeze dried meals, the Jetboils are very efficient at the cost of a little extra weight. Buying a stove like a MSR Pocket Rocket 2 and an Olicamp XTS pot w/heat exchanger will get you towards the same efficiency.

Since you mention bringing a grate... are you car camping? If so you might want to consider a dual-burner propane stove, instead of the smaller backpacking stoves. Much easier cooking on a dual burner stove since you can use larger pots and pans. If you're car camping solo or +1, then you might just want the backpacking stove.
