I have this and it’s pretty great for beach and theme park trips, but not sure about fishing. Great insulation though.

these work fine
Beer/ice on bottom, discs on top. With beers on bottom it will stand up okay, will lean over with too many discs/not enough beer but still works fine. and cheap.
I use something similar to this however mine was much cheaper from i believe walmart. I put my snacks and drinks in the cooler with ice packs and everything else in the upper storage area. My cooler has long since kinda been ruined, the lining is in bad shape so it really dont hold cold in well anymore and can leak from time to time if i put cool things in it that condensate without taping the lining back up (i often forget to do this).
