The books are seriously worth a read too if you like the show! I'm re-reading the series while I anxiously await the next half of the season.
American Gods is 3 bucks right now.
And the first Outlander is 4 if you like some time travel.

If you haven't read it already I totally suggest reading the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. Sure, it's romancey and does have a bit of sex in it BUT it has time travel, history, and a bunch of amazing stuff in it! Currently there are 8 books in the series and a few secondary books.
