Love the design, but I hate onsies! Newborns have such a severe case of bobble head.
The process isn't exactly simple or really cost-effective, but I also wanted something that LOOKED simple. So I made this.
I bought the applique on Etsy (not that I think it'd be hard, I'm just lazy) for $10, and the white PJs off Amazon for $16. I asked the Etsy person to make the rainbow into two pieces to go around the zipper. Then I just sewed them together.
It was a nice bonding project for me and this baby, plus it's now her coming-home outfit :)
