My favourites are two by South Korean beauty brands; one sheet mask is called the Real Water Brightening Mask by a brand named Jayjun. Phenomenal sheet mask that's also really handy for travelling, as it comes with its own little samples of cleansing foam and essence from their Real Water line. What I like about this one is the fit; the sheet mask is thick, fits my face comfortably well, and is drenched (but not dripping and messy) with all the good stuff. Most sheet masks also tend to dry up after like 15-20 minutes, but I find that this lasts me at least 40 minutes but I generally keep this on my face an hour everytime I use it. This is the $2 sheet mask, as you can easily find them in packs of 10, retailing for $20, give or take a dollar. Here is one link (non-affiliate of course)!

My other favourites are pretty much anything and everything by Mediheal. The price point is similar to Jayjun's masks (and some lines even cheaper, retailing for about $10-$12 per pack of 10), and the quality is also amazing. N.M.F Aquaring Ampoule Mask is my favourite- whenever I need a hit and dose of hydration, this is my go-to.

EDIT: Added some links for my other favourite masks available on Amazon! All links are as usual, not affiliate.

Hi everyone! A bit about me. My skin type is dry, so I'm always looking out for new moisturisers. I'm also quite pale, so I need to watch out for the sun. My goal has always been to be confident in my skin, to go without makeup, and to try and even out my skin tone. After ten months of skincare, you can see me here!

Here is my routine thus far, thoughts/comments always welcome!

AM:

  1. Wash face with Sulwhasoo Gentle Cleansing Foam (Hands down best face wash for me. I love the way it makes my skin feel, and it really takes off everything from that evening/daytime. It's expensive, but worth it in my eyes)
  2. Pixi Rose Tonic (This seems to be working for me so far, and keeping my skin hydrated. That said. I'm interested in trying out different products soon)
  3. SK II Facial Treatment Essence (I bought this purely because everyone raves about it. I've only been using it 2 weeks, so too soon to decide if its worth the price or not. )
  4. Eye cream with Nuxe Crème Prodigieuse (One of the few eye creams that doesn't leave my skin/eyes stinging! I love every Nuxe product I try, it really calms my skin)
  5. Sunday Riley Good Genes (Again, I bought this purely because everyone raves about it. I've only been using it 2 weeks, so too soon to decide if its worth the price or not.)
  6. Last - sunscreen! Perricone MD Photo-Brightening Moisturiser (SPF 30) (This is the product I'm LEAST in love with - makes my skin a bit too shiny...)
  7. Occasionally: my only make up would be Dr Jart Premium Beauty Balm BB Cream (SPF 45) (I feel like this is a little too pink for me, but I smooth it out so that it gives me a nice light coverage, and minimises my pores)

    PM:

  8. Wash face with Sulwhasoo Gentle Cleansing Foam
  9. Pixi Rose Tonic
  10. SK II Facial Treatment Essence
  11. Eye cream with Nuxe Crème Prodigieuse
  12. Sunday Riley Good Genes | OR |Sunday Riley A+ High Dose Retinoid Serum (only applied Tuesdays/Thursdays) (I have already begun to notice a different in skin tone with this product. That said, I only use it 2x a week as its a strong product for my skin type).
  13. Last - Dr Jart Ceramidin Cream (I have been enjoying this night time cream, it feels so nice to put on. I normally only use Nuxe night creams...).

Once a week (usually Sundays) I use Dr Jart Porecting Solution Bubbling Charcoal Masks or Papa Recipe Bombee Honey Masks (I LOVE THESE MASKS!! I usually alternate every other Sunday. I cannot rave enough about these.)

Sheet masks feel very soothing and luxurious, especially if you lie down and light a candle! I love Papa Bombee Honey, Naruko Snail Essence, and this orchid mask.

I'm in the same boat. Usually I'm a hydrated oil slick but baby has dried out my skin something awful

I've been using Marula oil + Klairs vitamin c serum in am/pm post toner. Before bed I use Weleda Skin Food – (this stuff is crazy!! I put it on my elbows, knees, and feet and cuticles too), then seal it in with that oil/serum combo. Some nights I mix Skin Food w/ Drunk Elephant B Hydra

I use rotation of My Beauty Diary Squalene or Mexico Cactus, and Papa Recipe Bombee Honey mask
