i’m wearing the modern retros with brainwavz pads as i type this. very comfortable. i think they are 10% off right now too. and if you have amazon prime, you can get the brainwavz xl for $27 shipped. i went with sheepskin for $44. i also made the cord detachable with this jack. so, i’m all in at about 85$ (if you count the aux cord i’m using). very happy with the setup. its my go-to for watching youtube on my ipad. i use my amp and fancier cans for music but these would be good too if i didnt have the others. i even use them sometimes for hiphop or really bassy music for fun.

Two of these and two male versions and some wire.

Male goes into PC and females go on edge of my desk mounted to an angle iron bracket. Just plug in headset when you want to use. Also on my output from PC I have a splitter one goes to speakers and one goes to headphone jack.

look into wall plates for GPU and ethernet. keystones can handle HDMI and ethernet. but you should be able to find wall plates for everything.

for the audio jacks, there are two ways i can see this being done. one is simply to have 3.5mm extensions and panel mount jacks. the other is to buy a front panel audio connector for a PCs 3.5" bay and mount it in the desk.

for example:

and mount it inside the desk and use extensions. you can get usb 3.0 and HD Audio extensions.

or panel mount 3.5mm jack:

power switch: any panel mount momentary switch will works. many have integrated LED. you just need one with the LED and the switch on seperate lines.
