Let's say, for example, I were to buy this. Am I still looking at a $700 installation fee? I assume I still have to replace the dash kit, but is it going to be the exact same installation fees even if using a trusted brand radio?

Ok. I just tried to pull harder and it worked. I haven't decided on a radio yet. But I think definitely a 7" of some kind.
Can I ask. Did you have to install something similar to this, to make it look flush with the factory panel? (I've never done this before so I have no idea.):
