I can buy it new and unopened for $80, why would I buy it used from a stranger for that price?

Yep the Dell s2716dg, its an excellent monitor. I upgraded from 1080p @ 60hz to this one, and its WOW. Its like night and day, the system normally runs games at 130+ fps, so having a monitor that refreshes at that speed is astounding. The only thing is that the monitor is a TN panel, so you get that wierd discoloration if you look at it from an angle. But I never play games with my monitor at a 90 degree angle, so i'm good. Haha.

Most of my games (Overwatch, Skyrim, Diablo III, Dota2) run at 130+ fps, with CPU intensive games like Watch Dogs 2 and Battlefield 1 at around 110 fps at stock CPU speed (3.8ghz). I OC'd it to 4.8ghz recently and it brought my fps in Battlefield 1 to around 130-142 fps, but also raised my temps from the mid 50s to mid 70s.

The mouse is a RGB MMO gaming mouse and the keyboard is the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate edition, which I'm planning on replacing sometime this year with a keyboard with RGB lighting (the blue doesn't really work with my red computer scheme, lol)

As much as I don't care for most Razer products, the razer blackwidow keyboard has lasted me so far about 3 years. You can pick this one up on amazon for about 80 bucks.

I'm new to this keyboard stuff but my friend is offering a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2016 edition for $60. It also apparently has rings that dampen the sound. Is this a good deal for the price range? I'm willing to spend up to 80.

$50 shipped, like new (i say like new bc it was gifted to me and do not know if it was used, refurb or what but i havent touched it and its in orginal box)

First things first is a good (mechanical) keyboard, it doesn't seem like a huge difference until you get one. I use both a Logitech G710+ and a Razer Black Widow, both are targeted at gamers but make excellent typing keyboards. I also use the macro keys quite often during daily life so they come in handy as well.

Next is a good autocorrect script, I wrote my own one using a software called Autohotkey, you can find an already very good one here, you can then adapt it to autocorrect your mistakes by pressing Win+G on a highlighted misspelled word and entering a correction.

Third is practice of course, especially regarding ten finger typing. Comes with time.

If this keyboard is the one you are talking about and you plan on buying new keycaps, the windows key, that square key, and the fn key, from the new set, won't fit.
