You could get a sound bar with a proper subwoofer from an equally tends-to-be-overpriced manufacturer for cheaper, for example. Depends on your use-case, obviously.

Hi!
Maybe consider a simple shelf for your projector on the wall behind your seating a la cinemas.

If you're willing to throw down ~1500 for your projector, consider a) a soundbar and b) a wireless hdmi transmitter. My current setup has my xbox and receiver under my 'screen' (my wall) in an entertainment center, and I was lucky enough to find a house with pre-wired surround (also near/behind my entertainment center). My current projector is situated on a tall side table between my couch and my loveseat with the wireless hdmi on the receiver output and projector input. No wires to trip over, and a soundbar will give you much better and still portable sound.
Examples:
5.1 Sound Bar less channels means cheaper, but of course deminishing quality.
Wireless HDMI TXMITTER /RCVR This one looks pretty good for the price. I have a refurbished Nyrius brand one thats lasted me about 4 ish years with minimal issues.
Hope this all helps!
