I'd go for the Zeiss over Samyang just based on brand. I don't see little under half a stop being the make or break decision on the lens.

Also maybe worth mentioning I'm a huge fan of Rokinon lenses on a budget, personally I think they blow others in their price range out of the water. I've used their 50mm T1.5 EF mount and like it very much. It runs for $419 right now on amazon
If the lens is primarily for video, you want a lens with a manual focus ring, a manual aperture ring and stepless (or "clickless") aperture. Gears on the focus and aperture rings would be nice, but are optional.
