Cool! After a helmet (I have a Specialized Align, works great) and maybe bike shorts (I've been testing out cheap ones on Amazon, so far I like the Santic ones best https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FF1GML4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ), I'd get a water bottle and water bottle cage. Next I think would be flat tire stuff: patch kit, tire irons, spare tube, and pump. And equally important, instruction how to change a flat. Maybe the shop does classes, or the community bike advocacy group may. That's probably about it! Oh maybe also sunblock haha. Weird places will burn, like the top of your knees.
