If it's this one, don't bother. Because it is so light, it will not stay open. You have to keep it weighted down while adding/removing jars. Plus, it's difficult to see in a deep canner. I went with silicone trivets, even used them double stacking when canning in my stock pot. The only downside is their diameter is a tad small for a large water bath canner, but you lay three of them to make sure your jars aren't touching the canner.
