I'm currently looking to buy a pair of Jodhpur boots, either black or dark brown like the ones at the link below:

I have two parts to my question:

  1. Does anybody have a recommendation for where to buy a pair of Jodhpur-style boots for under $100? The ones in the link I posed cost around $300.
  2. For leather boots, would black or the dark-brown color as seen in the pair above be a better choice? I'll probably wear the boots with jeans, possibly blue but often black jeans.
