I've recommended this book before, and I'm going to again. Demonic oppression is not necessarily head spinning, it can be extremely subtle. One of the most common is demonic accusation. Things like "You're not saved. God doesn't hear your prayers. You're too far gone. You're not a real Christian."


Some of the keys to victory are

1. Understanding your delegated authority in Jesus Christ.
   
   
2. Confess all sins, known and unknown, and let nothing stand between you and God.
   
   
3. Don't believe or listen to lies/accusations. Ask for discernment between the Holy Spirit's conviction and demonic accusation, you can usually tell the difference. Stand on God's word. Accusation is often very vague, keeping the Christian worried about "sin", and it often beats us down. The Holy Spirit will convict us specifically, and it may hurt, but it will build us up.

I highly recommend reading this book. It covers everything you need to know about spiritual warfare. Some important keys are:

Don't believe the lies you are told by the enemy,

submit every are of your life to the Lord

and

that the battle was already won by Jesus Christ.

This was suggested to me when I asked questions about witnessing to but also facing shaman in Asia and I never got around to reading it. So I have no idea if it’s reformed or hokey or downright heretical but it was suggested by someone I respect so here
