Well, it was worth a try and now at least you know this isn't the way. I’m almost out of Ideas but I do have one last “round” of suggestions:

I found a book that seems to be a guide to dealing with an existential crisis and overcoming the fear of death. Here's a link to the book: https://www.amazon.com/Staring-Sun-Overcoming-Terror-Death-ebook/dp/B001TUYV6O/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

Here's a link to an interview with the author: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0q2F7axxsM&feature=youtu.be

Also, I found a post from not long ago that might help. I don’t know if you’ve seen it, but I’ll post it anyway just in case:

I don’t know how much time you spend in front of a tv/laptop, but lowering the amount of time we spend in highly stimulating environments can help with regaining strength and peace of mind. You can try to spend more time doing lowly stimulating activities and trying to be more present in the moment. It's worth a try if you are indeed spending a lot of time doing highly stimulating things.

That’s all I can think of for now. I hope you find what you’re looking for, if not because of my advice, then in some other way :)

These are normal thoughts to have, and it's healthy that you're confronting your own mortality. Check out some of these books. They might be useful in helping you deal with your existential dread/worries.

At some point, you'll have to accept that you and everyone you know will die, and given that fact, you'll have to come to terms with what that means and how you should live your life accordingly. It's not an easy task, but you have to be brave and really face what's in front of you right now, namely the terror of knowing that you will die one day. I promise you it's not a cosmic joke what you're going through, but rather a necessary process for living a more authentic life and becoming a more authentic being. Because we die, this life matters much more than you previously thought. It's a painful but important thing to realize, and I feel for what you're going through, maybe tantamount to how Neo must have felt when he woke up from the matrix.

Lastly, I think this video might be very relatable to what you're going through right now as well.
