They are camouflaged, can be left out for days, are waterproof, and can shoot pics in the dark. I think it might be just what you need.

I think this is where the divide comes in between those of us who need to dumpster dive and those of us who want to dumpster dive.
I know nothing about the area, but why not just put up a game cam like this and get some pictures of whomever may be responsible. I don't know what is the best option but this one seems resonable.
