Okay, I have had shin splints for about a week now so the best thing obviously to do would be to ice, rest, and slow stretching exercises. Besides that, I have recently found a tape product that helps with support & stability for muscles, joints, and tendons without limiting range of motion like a traditional brace. It's called Strength Tape. I HIGHLY recommend it. I have had shin splints for a week and these past three days I have had them on, I feel amazing! I can walk normally without the consistent pain shooting up my shins. You can purchase it from their website or on Amazon where I prefer considering the prices there are much better. Hope this helps you and hope you recover quickly!
