I’ve been moisturizing out the wazoo- cerave treatment, aloe, heavy cream, neosporin and Vaseline. On your recommendations, I ordered an overnight mask and the La Roche-Posay Repairing Balm. I haven’t used these yet- they’ll be here tomorrow!
The boy wants to see me again soon, and I’m dying to hurry up this peeling process so I don’t scare him away. I’ll ask him to shave or use beard oil in the future if things go well with him haha

Sorry, I'm totally not helpful with a suggestion as I've yet to try it, but I plan to in the future and I think price per oz it's actually not that bad, especially for Sulwhasoo but even in general, because the tube is pretty generous.
ETA: Not sure if you're in the US, but it's around $43 on Amazon Prime for 4 oz, and a lot of "creams" are only in 1 oz containers, which is why I said it's a good price per oz. When you break it down to around $11 an ounce, that's like the price point of CosRX or even less!

I've been ordering the Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask EX off of Amazon from the same link/seller for a while (2 yrs) now. I've never questioned the legitimacy of the product despite it bring pretty highly discounted off the original price ($33 compared to $52) but now I wonder if I've been using a fake product all along? I tried to compare packaging to how it is in the website and Google image searches but I know companies sometimes update packaging. Is there any way I can tell if this product is real?
