Mine lasted a whole year. I had to replaced the rear one this past winter, and it's holding up well. I ride all year long as long as the temp stays above 40F.

The only reason I had to replace the rear Tailguard was due to improper installation (installed upside-down) and I didn't have the patience to wait for the glue to cure properly.
