So, bear in mind that the pieces I'm showing you will keep the guitar from being damaged further. They're inexpensive stopgap measures which will keep the guitar "right" until you decide whether to fwr vintage period correct pieces to replace the originals, or sell the instrument outright.

If the screw holes don't line up, don't drill new ones. Just return the piece. If you want to maximize the value of the instrument, change as little as possible about the guitar. Wood integrity and the originality of the finish are important. Original wear marks, like those seen on your guitar, do not devalue the instrument, but trying to "fix" those would cause the instrument's value to drop significantly.
I'll look around and be certain that this piece will do what you need, but it looks like the right tailpiece for the job, even though it doesn't exactly match the original style.
