Also, when I said you could get him a Cho-Z bey, that would probably be in addition to whatever starter you get him. That's because the launchers the Cho-Z beys come with arent great. You could get him a Cho-Z and a launcher and he would be set. Come to think of it, he might like Zet Achilles with Extend Plus. Achilles is a powerful attack type that can change it's mode when you equip the Extendo Chip. The chip comes with a good launcher set with a grip so he would have a mode changing bey and a launcher!
I may be biased because I have a love for Zet Achilles, but it's the bey used by the main character of the new season of the show and it is shown to be incredibly powerful. Also, he would have Achilles before the Turbo version even comes out and it would be twice as powerful as the Turbo version.
