My wife and I are big fans of this clock. It's worked pretty well with my 4 year old getting up too early or in the overnight.

Basically unless it's green, it's not time to get up.

This product worked for our son. I call it a "reverse" alarm clock, but the product description calls it an "Ok to Wake." We used it in conjunction with a reward system, but it didn't take long. One caveat is that I don't remember what age we used it at, but I suspect it was in the 18-month to 2-year range.

We got my two year old a teaching time night light clock Patch Products LLC Teach Me Time Talking Alarm Clock and Nightlight https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0019IHE8I/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_ZPALwbKTKES06 for his second birthday and with it turning off at 7am. It really worked for our older daughter at two but my son still tries to buck the schedule. So your mileage may vary.

The good- works great as a nightlite. Turns green when its ok to get up. Kids can push a button to hear what time it is. Controls to change time / alarms are behind a difficult to open door that my 5 year old hasnt figured out yet.

Not so good. Battery back up does not seem to work. I my two year old unplugs it and then I have to reprogram the time. Getting pretty fast at it though.
