I know I had seen mention of a good crocket book someone used here recently, but I couldn't remember the name...

Did some browsing on this subreddit for other resources, I found mention of the Teach yourself visually crochet book, which was said to be popular here. Also check out the resources page of this subreddit's wiki for some suggested resources.
