I dunno, I think it'd be pretty fun to have SSD coasters, they'd look pretty cool, either that or just some PCB ones, I bet that exists.

They were a gift many years ago.
A few years ago I saw a really cool computer set up that might appeal to you. The circuit board was hung on the wall like a picture and there was a frame with matting that covered the power supply and held lights that shown on the motherboard. It might have been in an early Make magazine. If so, it was no later than issue 25 or so.
You can also get circuit board coasters.
I'm also a fan of white boards. You can use shower liners as ultra cheap white boards. You can also get paint on chalk boards, but the dust makes me shy away from them.
