This is arguably the most important topic to get red-pilled on, as our bad diet is the foundation upon which the (((medical mafia))) rests. Fast food and soda are about the worst of the worst, but to be blunt: Humans are eating the wrong diet for our species. Luckily, we can reason through this.

Look at your body. Very little hair. You wouldn't survive the night, let alone the winter, in most parts of the world before the advent of fire and tools. We were designed, by evolution, for the tropics. Our bodies evolved for millions of years to be suited to that environment. Humans are a tropical species, and our diet should reflect that. In a tropical environment with no fire, no tools, what would you eat? Fruit! Just like most primates.

In short, as modern humans we should be eating primarily fresh, raw fruit and dark leafy greens. Then make some tweaks to reflect your more recent ancestry -- maybe add some eggs, fish, a little clean meat. Avoid grains and bread, avoid dairy. And that crap in the center aisles packaged in shiny boxes with ingredients you can't pronounce... THAT'S NOT FOOD.

Yes, we can adapt to other diets. Our bodies can run on a wide variety of fuels. But there are consequences, most notably acidic buildup leading to tissue degeneration. We group symptoms of these byproducts into "diseases" -- an entirely invented concept -- and are sold various pharmaceuticals to treat these symptoms, never the cause. (Wouldn't want to lose a customer!) We call them "cancer", "heart disease", etc. -- these are all the result of poor diet.

Here are a couple books that'll help guide you down the path to medical freedom:

Animals who eat other animals have an entirely different digestive system, from teeth to anus. Cats, for example, have smooth intestines about 3x their torso length and a stomach pH of 1-2. This is to process the meat as quickly as possible and get it out of the body. Primates, including humans, have ringed intestines about 12x their torso length and a stomach pH of 2-4. We're not designed to eat meat. Our poor bodies are just trying to compensate, but there are repercussions. And those repercussions make modern Western medicine possible.

The teeth alone make it really obvious:

Chapter 1 of Dr. Graham's 80/10/10 Diet book covers this at length, for those interested.

My advice would be to read 80/10/10 and cut out the cooked foods in the evenings and see how you like that. Another thing you can do is start tracking all of your calories (if you aren't already). I know they recommend like 3000+ calories but when they came up with that it was based on an almost all-fruit diet; Harley and Freeley were fully raw for 5+ years I believe before they recently started the "raw til 4" thing, so the results they're demonstrating aren't necessarily typical. Also your activity level may be a factor as they seem quite active/energetic.

I've been about 95% raw for a bit over two months and have lost 4-5 lbs (and wasn't overweight to begin with), so I'm guessing it's the evening meals that are causing your weight gain.

Yep.

It is a lot of fruit compared to the standard american diet. My diet is close to 80/10/10 or low fat raw vegan but I eat a little rice, potato, fish and tofu which they do not. You can find a lot of info on youtube and google searching both of those terms. This is they guy credited for starting the movement.

There is evidence. There is plenty of evidence. It's just not publicized by the medical industry, for which cancer treatment is a multi-hundred billion dollar business. There are many books, videos, interviews, articles. Many already posted.

On mobile, will post later

edit:

First, understand that "cancer" is just garbage in vs garbage out. That is, optimize your diet and optimize your waste processing, and you will eliminate most causes of "cancer". Your grandfather has been intaking garbage faster than his body could process it, and now he has "cancer".

This short video explains it very well:
