The ironic thing is that -- PRIOR to the advent of the "welfare" state (which destroyed the "nuclear" family) -- the black american community HAD been gaining substantial ground in social AND economic terms.

As to the agenda; well the chief aspect is political, and is easiest to explain via the quote from LBJ: "I'll have those n*ggers voting Democratic for 200 years."

Other "agenda" are things like the various "service" and (so called) "helping/assistance" professions (and arguably "industries") -- the social workers, etc -- when you view it as a sort of "perverse/inverted" BUSINESS (i.e. wanting to EXPAND their customer base)... you realize the LAST thing they want is to actually SOLVE the "problems" that their career (income, promotions, etc) are based around.

I realize when you've been incessantly indoctrinated all your life that such people are GOOD & HELPFUL -- that for example "doctors want people to be healthy, and to cure/prevent disease" -- it is VERY difficult to wrap your head around the idea that *as a profession/industry* any such thing would be RUINOUS; ergo it works to do the opposite: engages in rampant "disease-mongering", and false "medicalizing" anything and everything.

Guaranteed you read that, you will look at EVERYTHING (education, hospitals, all kinds of various other ostensibly "noble/helping" professions & careers)... with an entirely DIFFERENT perspective; and suddenly it will be like the "fog" of the mystery of why so many things are "shit" in our present society will entirely disappear -- you will see RIGHT through it -- to what is REALLY going on.
